The Syrp Genie is a motion control device that places professional-level videography and time-lapse techniques within the grasp of those of us with more modest budgets, allowing you to experiment with a range of exciting effects; creating dynamic and interesting pieces. The Genie is programmable and features three presets for those finding their feet with the device. With two interchangeable bases the Genie can be used both for linear and panning motion capture techniques, and the unit is self-contained with an internal rechargeable battery with up to 12 hours of longevity.
Syrp Genie Motion Control Device: Key Features
The Syrp Genie Motion Control Device is the perfect accessory for time lapse photography and real time video.
The Syrp Genie comes with two interchangeable bases, one for linear motion and one for panning and both feature a 3/8" and 1/4" male thread so that the Syrp Genie can be attached to a tripod, head, sliders, cable cams, and various other supports. This all-in-one device takes up very little space in your kit bag and features a USB connection for firmware and sensor input (visit https://syrp.co.nz/support for latest available updates) , built-in bubble level to help with setup and features three presets for photographers who are new to time-lapse - Stars, People and Clouds. The battery is fully charged in three hours and lasts approximately 12 hours. The maximum speed in video mode is: 100cm in 45 seconds in linear mode and 5 seconds for a 360 degree pan.
