It features an advanced and intricate Apochromatic optical design that is made up of fourteen glass lens elements arranged into nine groups, including one Extra-low Dispersion, one Aspherical and three UHR lens elements. Together this arrangement of lenses produces incredible image quality that has significantly reduced chromatic and spherical aberrations. The most notable feature of this lens is its ultra-fast, wide and bright f0.95 aperture. It's made up of fourteen high-quality lens elements, arranged into nine groups, including one Extra-low Dispersion Glass, one Aspherical Lens and three Ultra High Refraction Glass lenses. Together, this arrangement of lenses significantly reduces chromatic and spherical aberrations across each and every frame, and it's this advanced and intricate lens structure that is also able to produce impressively high-quality images rich in detail, clarity and accurate colour reproduction.

Functionality

This lens is surprisingly compact and lightweight considering the advanced lens structure and fast f0.95 maximum aperture. This ultimately aids handheld shooting for both videographers and photographers. Further aiding stability, the lens features an internal system that not only results in less lens movement and therefore allows for position-specific lens filters, but also prevents dust from entering the lens as you zoom in and out (something that is inevitable in standard zooms because of the vacuum that is created).

The design of this lens with the bright aperture makes for impeccable astrophotography, but there are functions put in place that wholly benefit videographers.
