The Hoya 67mm Pro-1 Digital UV is a multi-purpose fine-weather filter that absorbs the ultraviolet rays which often makes outdoor photographs hazy and indistinct. While designed specifically for digital cameras the PRO1 Digital series can be used on film cameras as well. The clear UV filter can also be left on the lens to serve as a permanent lens protector.
