The optical structure is made up of 17 elements, in 13 groups and this includes the use of two Fluorite and one Super UD glass, as well as the use of ASC and Super Spectra lens coatings. This optical makeup is complemented by a powerful Dual power focus drive that offers impressively fast autofocus acquisition, where focus is maintained even when tracking fast-moving subjects. Is this compatible with a lens extender?

This lens is only compatible with the Canon RF 1.4x & Canon RF 2x Extender. Each extender maintains full AF performance and image stabilaistion.

Can I use filters with this lens?

The lens features a 52mm drop-in filter system.

How much does this lens weigh? Can I use it handheld?

Whilst you could use this handheld, it's not advised. Weighing in at 2890g, for the best results it'd be best to use either a monopod or tripod.
