Canon EOS 450D
With its new 9-point AF system, high pixel count and large LCD screen with Live View, the Canon EOS 450D brings an unparalleled standard of image quality and adaptability to this end of the market. The bright 3" LCD provides sharp definition for checking focus and composition, with 10x magnification ensuring not even the finer details are missed.

Improved Performance
The high number of megapixels on the 450D gives the user an abundance of detail for poster-size prints as well as providing extra flexibility when cropping. The CMOS sensor is super responsive in low lights and practically silent, whilst being incredibly power efficient.

The EOS 450D produces up to 53 large JPEG images (6 in RAW) in a continuous burst, shooting at up to 3.5fps and its 9-point wide-area AF points are spread out across the frame, resulting in a greater ability for capturing off-centre subjects. The central AF point is a high sensitivity cross-type sensor for quick, accurate focusing with f/2.8 and faster lenses.

EOS Integrated Cleaning System
The in-built dust prevention system uses three methods to prevent imperfections from ruining your images:

• Specialised materials reduce dust generation within the camera
• A self-cleaning sensor unit shakes dust from the sensor each time the camera is turned on or off
• Stubborn dust spots are mapped for easy removal in Digital Photo Professional (DPP)

DIGIC III processor
The DIGIC III processor on the Canon EOS 450D is celebrated for its white balance accuracy. The processor renders colours with meticulous, true-to-life brilliance. Images are captured and processed in 14-bit colour depth for finer tonal gradations. DIGIC III effectively minimises power consumption whilst sustaining almost instant response times.

Absolute Image Control
Control over image processing parameters is rendered easy with Picture Style presets. The supplied Picture Style Editor software, along with in-camera functions, mean contrast, sharpness and saturation can all be customised to individual preferences. The Canon RAW processing software Digital Photo Professional (DPP) provides everything you need to manage and process your RAW images in post-production stages.

Compatibility
The EOS 450D is compatible with over 60 EF/EF-S lenses and all EX Series Speedlite flash units.
